Come for the fishing.
Stay for the adventure.

Spend a day on the water with Thomas and experience the beauty, wildlife and fishing of Quadra Island. Thomas has fished these waters since he was five and brings 45 years of commercial fishing experience, and a lifetime of knowledge of the local waters.

A day on the water you'll remember

Fishing is at the heart of what we do, but the real experience is everything that happens around it. The scenery, the stories, the wildlife, the people and those moments when the boat is surrounded by nothing but ocean and mountains. Whether you're an experienced angler or simply looking for a great day outdoors, our goal is simple: get you out on the water, have some fun and give you a day worth talking about when you get home.

A lifetime on these waters

Thomas's connection to Quadra Island and its waters goes far beyond fishing. As an Indigenous leader and lifelong member of this coastal community, he carries generations of knowledge about the land, the ocean and the life that depends upon them. His experience isn't something learned from a chart or a weekend course — it comes from a lifetime spent paying attention to the water.

Knowledge built over generations

For generations, coastal Indigenous communities have relied upon the ocean for food, travel, culture and connection. Thomas's fishing expertise comes from that deep relationship with the waters around Quadra Island. His understanding of the tides, seasons, weather and fish is part of a living tradition — knowledge that has helped put food on the tables of families and communities for generations.

He knows where the fish are

Years on the water teach you things that can't be learned from a handbook. Thomas knows how the local waters change with the seasons, where fish move, how conditions affect the bite and when it's worth changing plans. That experience means your day isn't spent guessing. You're out there with someone who understands the water and knows how to make the most of it.

The fish are only part of the story

A great charter isn't just about how many fish end up in the boat. It's about laughing with friends, watching eagles overhead, seeing the coastline from the water and enjoying a day away from the ordinary. Bring your family, bring your friends or come ready to meet new people. We'll take care of the fishing — you enjoy the ride.
